ANCWF & New Life GC Care Employment and Training Seminar

The Australian National Chinese Women's Federation (ANCWF) is pleased to announce a new community initiative in collaboration with New Life GC Care.

Our first seminar will provide practical information and guidance for women, new migrants and members of the Chinese community who are interested in exploring employment opportunities in the aged-care and care industries.

We are pleased to welcome Lacey, Founder and Trainer of New Life GC Care, who will share practical guidance on how to begin a career in the care sector.

Topics will include entering the aged-care industry, employment and career pathways, preparing a professional résumé, interview skills, improving employability, understanding training and qualifications, and planning for future career development.

The seminar is particularly suitable for people who may be new to Australia and would like to understand how to take their first steps towards employment in this growing area of community care.

The program will also include information about mental health awareness for new migrants, with further details about the participating health organisation to be announced.

ANCWF believes that employment is about more than finding a job. It can help people develop confidence, independence, new skills and stronger connections with the wider Australian community.
